Meredith McDonald has almost fifteen years of experience litigating cases and advising clients. Ms. McDonald’s practice has focused on defending private and public entities in a wide variety of areas, including employment, governmental entity defense, constitutional law, personal injury and professional liability.
Ms. McDonald has represented public and private employers in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. She has defended claims alleging harassment, discrimination, disparate impact, whistleblower matters, wrongful termination, and retaliation involving Title VII, the ADA, the FMLA, the FLSA, the ADEA, OSHA, and the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. McDonald has also advised clients with respect to various employment and contract matters.
Ms. McDonald is the Chair of the Employment and Labor Law Committee for the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, and a Vice Chair and Chair Elect of the Employment and Labor Law Committee for the TIPS Section of the American Bar Association. Before joining Miletich PC, Ms. McDonald was a partner with a local insurance defense firm, defending entities and individuals throughout all phases of litigation.
After obtaining her law degree and her Masters in International Management from the University of Denver, but before commencing her legal career, Ms. McDonald worked as the Director of Latin American Trade for the State of Colorado, and as a General Manager, Latin America for an international teleconferencing company.
